The preschool program at Creative Kids Christian Learn Center in Hattiesburg, MS is a Christian based (A-BEKA) daily childcare program from 8:30 to 11:30 AM. This program is a service of this daycare facility and the only additional charge for this is a book fee. Our goal with this is to prepare children for Kindergarten. The curriculum used in this daycare program includes letters, numbers, colors, basic phonics and Bible stories and verses.
Creative Kids utilizes the Between the Lions Curriculum for this age group. The Between the Lions Curriculum shows children the power and pleasure of literacy. This approach establishes a meaningful context for learning, and then guides kids to explore specific details. In the preschool ages the curriculum focuses on language and vocabulary development, phonological awareness, book and print awareness, and letter knowledge. Our goal is to provide instruction in the skills that will help them learn to read well in a Christian environment you can trust.
Parents will be able to follow their child’s progress with the worksheets and crafts they bring home. Parents love to take time to look at these with their children and discuss their day!
*3 and 4 year olds must be potty trained prior to entering the 3 or 4 year old class.
Freedom Ranch Outreach Education
Creative Kids Preschool Program now offers the Freedom Ranch Outreach Education to our four year olds! Monthly from August to May, Freedom Ranch brings animal ambassadors into our classroom. They work to teach early life science curriculum as well as working to reinforce preschool skills. This program is included in tution and is offered at NO EXTRA COST.
